Indivisible of West Central Illinois Endorses Lt. Governor Juliana Stratton for U.S. Senate

Indivisible of West Central Illinois is proud to announce our endorsement of Illinois Lieutenant Governor Juliana Stratton for the United States Senate.
Juliana Stratton’s campaign reflects the values our movement is fighting for. Her pledge not to accept contributions from corporate PACs underscores her commitment to being accountable to voters—not special interests—and to putting working people first.
She has been clear and courageous in opposing ICE overreach, standing up for immigrant families and rejecting policies that rely on fear, cruelty, and the erosion of civil liberties. With her long-standing commitment to progressive causes, Stratton has shown that she will use her platform to fight for dignity, fairness, and opportunity for all Illinoisans.
Our region of Illinois is nicknamed “Forgottonia” for a reason: Rural Illinois is often treated as an afterthought. Juliana Stratton has shown—through her actions, not just her words—that she understands our communities, listens to our concerns, and fights for policies that make life better in rural communities like ours.
During her time as Lieutenant Governor, Stratton has consistently supported investments that strengthen rural economies, including expanding access to healthcare, broadband, and workforce development opportunities. She has advocated for policies that support family farms, small businesses, and working people, while recognizing that economic opportunity and quality of life should not depend on one’s ZIP code.
Stratton has been a national leader protecting reproductive freedom, advancing criminal justice reform, and defending democracy. She understands that attacks on voting rights, bodily autonomy, and civil rights disproportionately harm rural communities and communities of color, and she has been vocal and effective in pushing back.
Stratton has been a strong and unwavering ally to the LGBTQIA+ community. She has championed nondiscrimination protections, supported gender-affirming health care, and stood up for youth and families—especially at a time when extremist attacks and harmful legislation threaten their safety and dignity. Her leadership affirms that everyone in Illinois, including those in rural and conservative areas, deserves to live openly and safely.
Juliana Stratton leads with empathy, courage, and a clear moral compass. She doesn’t pit regions or communities against each other—she brings people together to solve real problems. We are excited to support her campaign and to help elect a U.S. Senator who will fight for rural Illinois, downstate families, LGBTQIA+ Illinoisans, and working people across our state.
Indivisible of West Central Illinois looks forward to mobilizing grassroots support throughout the region to help send Juliana Stratton to the United States Senate.
